Drawing inspiration from the classic science fiction novel Foundation, YIRI ARTS presents its major annual exhibition, The Foundation Trilogy. With art at its core, the exhibition explores three sub-themes: “Doomsday Prophecy,” “Art Gene Bank,” and “Space Colony.”

The show is spread across three venues in Taipei, featuring over 100 works by 42 artists from Taiwan and abroad. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, large-scale installations, and site-specific works. Following the interstellar prophecies of the sci-fi master, we invite you to imagine the existence and possibilities of art when the end of the world arrives.

Bedtime Story is an installation piece featuring 18 paintings combined with a set of vintage metal bunk beds. Through separate and scattered visual clues, the work connects the theme of “sleep” with other senses, including smell, touch, and sound.
